Why Use Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric?

Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric protects all types of fabrics from water-based stains. Thanks to Gtechniq's unique scientific formula, it is breathable and extremely durable.

The nanoparticles that make up the I1 Smart Fabric cover each fabric fiber separately, keeping the texture unchanged, making the material breathable. This means that while oil-based water and liquids are repelled, stale air will still be able to escape.

I1 Smart Fabric V2 is more hydrophobic than its predecessor, leaving no spill residue and moisture will fall from the surface to treat.
Laboratory tests show that water repulsion reaches the highest ISO 5 standard set by the American Textile Chemistry and Colorists Association (AATCC), and wash tests show that the product maintains its standard, the highest after washing under a 40-degree cycle, even after five washes, its performance is always better than that of its predecessor.

On average, it can be used inside a car for 6 to 12 months, depending on how the surface is used. On the roof of a convertible, the product can be used for up to 2 years.


Simple Steps To Help You Get The Best Results.

• If used for indoor surfaces, please use I2 TriClean to prepare the surface to be treated.
• For outdoor use, please use the W5 Citrus Pure Universal Cleaner to clean dirty surfaces, or dilute with water in a 5:1 ratio to reduce dirty areas.
• Before using I1 Smart Fabric, please make sure the surface you are cleaning is completely dry (the best results can be obtained under good drying conditions for 48 hours).
• In order to achieve the best I1 impregnating effect in the fabric, its moisture content must be less than 15%, which is much drier than dry to the touch.
• Shake well and put gloves on before use.
• Use at a temperature of 5oC or higher in a well-ventilated area.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Spray evenly at a distance of about 15 cm to ensure that the covered area is completely saturated.
• Make sure your app is complete, because once the Smart Fabric dries, you won't be able to apply the second layer because the first layer will repel the excess product.
• Avoid over-spraying the surrounding substrate, if this happens, wipe it immediately with a MF1 ZeroR microfiber cloth. At the same time, use MF1 to wipe off excess tissue
• Allow it to dry for 24 hours, after which the full effect of the product will be achieved.
• Keep in a cool, dry place.
• Use within 12 months after opening.
