Why Use Gtechniq L1 Leather Protection?

L1 Leather Guard forms a durable, abrasion-resistant matte finish that provides the best protection ever created against damage caused by abrasion, UV rays, dye transfer and other discolorations.

With the addition of BioCote antimicrobial technology®, treated surfaces will kill 99.9 % bacteria.

Friction protection is especially important on seat bol bolos, seat piping and any other areas of high wear. The anti-stain function is especially useful for light-colored leathers that are usually stained by dark-colored fabrics such as indigo jeans.

L1 gives a durability of 3 to 12 months depending on the wear of the protected area.

Myth hunter

Many leather products sell themselves on how they feed the leather, when in fact this is not necessary. Modern automotive leather uses synthetic grease liquors that do not evaporate. Any product designed to nourish the leathers will not be absorbed by modern automotive leathers, but will remain on the surface by attracting dirt that will then act as an abrasive shortening the finish of the leathers.

Simple Steps to Help You Get the Best Results

Perfectly clean leather with I2 Tri-Clean and dry surfaces

Shake well before use and wear gloves

Apply in circular motions using an AP3 double layer soft foam applicator by spreading a thin layer of product

Remove any excess with an MF1 ZeroR microfiber polishing cloth

For best results on areas with high wear, reapply the product one hour after the first coat

Allow the product to dry one hour before use

store in a cool, dry place
