Why Use Gtechniq EXO?

Using composite siloxane technology, EXOv5 facilitates the removal of water spots and dirt from the road, offers excellent resistance to all washing chemicals and can help with resistance to micro scratches. It produces a very bright, warm and extremely hydrophobic finish.

It has a coherent film that is more durable and resistant to road salt and washing chemicals than its predecessors. The application was improved with a single layer of product needed, with a slow evaporation time, giving more time to get a perfect finish.

All of the above, combined with the introduction of a good degree of resistance to the tourbillon, means that the EXOv5 represents a significant leap forward in the last surface protection technology (LSP).

Simple Steps To Help You Get the Best Results.

• EXOv5 can be applied as a stand-alone coating or as a top layer for Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer or Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) - we recommend applying C1 or CSL as a base layer for easy-to-mark and dark paints.
• If you apply to C1, EXOv5 must be applied at least 4 hours, but less than 12 hours, after completing the C1 application.
• If you apply to CSL, EXOv5 must be applied at least 1 hour after application of the CSL.
• Make sure your vehicle is safe from the direct sunlight but at a temperature greater than 5 degrees Celsius, is completely dry and will remain dry for at least 12 hours after application.
• Press all surfaces using Gtechniq Wipe Panel and a Gtechniq MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth (appli the Wipe Panel directly to the rag and not directly on the panel) - if you apply to newly applied C1 or CSL, this step is not necessary.
• Shake the bottle and wear gloves.
• Amortize the applicator filled with ultra soft AP2 foam evenly with a good quantity of product so that the pad is saturated.
• Apply with the applicator provided in overlayed strokes on an area of about 2 feet on 2 feet (60 cm x 60 cm). Wait 1 to 2 minutes after application on a panel and polish with a MF1, followed by a second MF1 to remove any dirt, leaving the surface smooth. One layer of product is enough.
• Let the coating harden for at least 12 hours before exposed to moisture.
• After application, we recommend you do not wash the car for at least 7 days.
• Keep in a cool and dry place.
• If open, use within 3 months, if unopened, use within 12 months.
   
• Avoid direct application on plastic trims, rubbers and hard plastic, such as headlights and rear lights.
