WHY USE Gtechniq Exo?

Using the composite siloxanes technology, Exov5 facilitates the removal of water stains and dirt from the road, offers excellent resistance to all washing chemicals and can help withstand micro-scratches. It produces a very bright, warm and extremely hydrophobic finish.

It has a coherent film that is more durable and resistant to road salt and washing chemicals than its predecessors. The application has been improved with a single layer of product needed, with a slow evaporation time, giving more time to get a perfect finish.

All the above, combined with the introduction of a good degree of tourbillon resistance, means that the Exov5 represents a significant leap in the protection technology of the last surface (LSP).

Simple steps to help you get the best results.

• Exov5 can be applied as a stand-alone coating or as a top layer for Gtechniq C1 Crystal lacquer or Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) - We recommend applying C1 or CSL as a basecoat for easy-to-mark and dark paints.
• If you are applying for C1, EXOV5 must be applied at least 4 hours, but less than 12 hours after completing the C1 application.
• If you are applying for CSL, EXOV5 must be applied at least 1 hour after application of the CSL.
• Make sure your vehicle is safe from direct sunlight but at a temperature above 5 degrees Celsius, which it is completely dry and will remain dry for at least 12 hours after application.
• Wipe all surfaces using Gtechniq Panel wipe and a Gtechniq MF1 Zeror Microfibre Buff Cloth (Apply the Wipe panel directly on the cloth and not directly on the panel) - if you apply to C1 or CSL newly applied, this step is not necessary.
• Shake the bottle and carry gloves.
• Primer the applicator filled with Ultra soft foam AP2 uniformly with a good amount of product so that the buffer is saturated.
• Apply with the applicator supplied in superimposed features on an area of about 2 feet on 2 feet (60 cm x 60 cm). Wait 1 to 2 minutes after the application on a panel and polish with a MF1, followed by a second MF1 to eliminate any burr, leaving the smooth surface. A single layer of product is enough.
• Leave the coating harden for at least 12 hours before exposing it to moisture.
• After application, we recommend that you do not wash the car for at least 7 days.
• Keep in a cool and dry place.
• If open, use within 3 months, if unopened, use within 12 months.
   
• Avoid direct application on plastic trim, rubbers and hard plastic, such as headlights and taillights.
