Dislike the thermosets, polyepoxides and polyesters up to a temperature of 170 ° C and a pressure up to 100kg / cm2
Utilization
Is used by hand and allows an effective waxy surface for several demolding. It decreases the fouling of the mold and gives the demolished pieces a particularly deep gloss.
Characteristics
The wax 54 D is based on high melting point synthetic waxes and contains silicones
Aspect Hard wax
Color Pale green
Odor low
Density 0,8
Flash point 40 ° C - Flammable product -
Instructions for use
Polyesters or polyepoxides laminates
After preparation of the mold with the dough 7890 F and lusting with the Lustravit:
Spread in thin layer and continues the wax 54 D, in the following manner:
Place in a permeable cloth (wool or cotton) a little minglewed wax, tie the cloth in a ball by pressing slightly.Passes this ball on the mold so that the wax filters through the cloth, let dry until a veil occur. Whitish and luster by hand without supporting.
Repeat this operation three times to get a high-power separator movie and a mirror brilliant. Molding.
Make a new application to wax whenever necessary.
Thermosetting compression up to 170 ° C.
Using a well-impregnated wax cloth, coat the mold with a thin layer and continuous. Mold immediately.
Given the severity of the imposed constraints (temperatures and pressure), we recommend a wax application after each molding
Conditioning
Box of 0.350 kg
In front of the multiplicity of the types and qualities of polyurethanes lacquers and varnishes, more or less adapted to the techniques of composite prints on molds made of lacquered wood or polyurethane varnish, we do not recommend the use of our waxes on molds or forms covered with these lacquers or varnishes.
However, if this technique is needed, we highly recommend a prior orientation test on the lacquer or polyurethane varnish applied to the support used.
This test says "styrene" is the following :
Pour a drop of monomer styrene to the support to be tested in 4 or 5 locations.
Cover each drop of a glass of watch (to avoid evaporation)
Check the evolution after 12 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours and more if necessary.
Check the following points compared with the surface not in contact with styrene. :
Shine / blistering / alteration of the hue
It can be considered that lacquer or varnishes are unsuitable for the intended use if they present at points in contact with styrene the defects of tarnishing, blistering or changing complexion
