This activity was developed until 1929. In 1931 Abel became an S.A. based near Paris. In 1968 Abel merged with Bonnex, a company specializing in tar cleaners and removers. She then became Abel Bonnex. In 1998 Turtle Wax, the world leader in automotive cleaning products, purchased ABEL BONNEX. In 2009 Abel Bonnex changed her name. Its new name is TURTLE WAX FRANCE. Turtle Wax ® is now the world leader in automotive cleaning products, thanks in large part to product research and development, continually offering revolutionary concepts.
