MENZERNA Heavy Cut Compound 400 Green Line - 1 L

Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 (HCC 400) GREEN LINE is an innovative VOC-free cutting compound for automotive varnish.
HCC 400 GREEN LINE eliminates sanding marks and micro scratches as quickly as possible without aggressive solvents.

Using a rotating or eccentric polishing machine with an abrasive polishing pad or a wool pad on Velcro support, HCC 400 will allow you to polish and shine on any type of automotive varnish.

A wool pad may be needed on heavily scratched vehicles to allow you to work faster. Beware of sheepskin which in use with a rotating polishing machine may generate a lot of holograms.
We prefer to work with a long-running orbital chandelier (double action) (15 or 21 mm) and a Heavy Cut pad.

Recommended use

1. Clean the surface carefully before polishing.
2. Shake the bottle before use and apply a small amount of product to the polishing pad (a drop the size of a pea is sufficient for an area of about 40 x 40 cm).
3. Use menzerna Heavy Cut foam pad or Menzerna Lambs wool in case of major defects. If you use a new or dry tampon, apply enough polish to prevent visible holograms from forming.
4. Use a rotary or orbital polisher and use the cross-coating method.
Apply light pressure at the beginning of the polishing process. Eliminate pressure in recent cycles and increase the polisher's speed by 10%.
5. If you are working on very dry coatings, spray a little water on the surface to prevent dust from forming.
6. At first, the varnish will appear a little milky and should be worked until only a slightly transparent/oily film is visible.
7. Once you have finished polishing, remove any residue with a microfiber cloth, without applying any pressure.
8. Whatever the surface requirements: use Menzerna HCC400 with the Menzerna Soft Cut foam pad for a glossy finish.
