Oxalic acid: Cleaning wood, copper, metals and boat hull

• Also known as oselic salt, oxalic acid is ideal for illuminating old woods (black and dirty) and exotic woods.
• This product also makes it possible to deoxide coppers and metals and to clean the boat hulls in polyester.

Direction of employment

• Solution: dissolve 100g of oxalic acid per litre of hot water.

• To whiten wooden furniture : pass the solution with a sponge. Leave to act about 2 hours, rinse thoroughly with hot water with a sponge. Provide a drying time of 24 hours at a minimum temperature of 18°C.

• To clean the polyester shells: apply the solution using a sponge. allow for 15 minutes and rinse with water.

• To deoxide metals and coppers: place objects in the solution. Leave to act 5 to 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly with water and wipe.

Before use, read the label and product information.

Oxalic acid is used diluted in water. Dissolve 100g of oxalic acid in 1 litre of hot water.

To decorate the woods:

Apply the solution using a brush or a lava-pont, allow for a few moments before scrubbing, then rinse thoroughly with clear water.

To clarify wooden furniture:

Apply the solution with a sponge, let act about 2h. Rinse thoroughly with hot water, then let dry.

To clean the polyester boat hulls:

Apply the solution with a sponge, allow for 15 minutes and rinse with water.

To deoxide coppers and metals:

Place objects in the solution. Leave to act 5 to 10 minutes, rinse thoroughly with water, then wipe.

To remove traces of rust on wood and tiles:

Apply the solution with a brush or sponge, allow for a few moments before rinsing thoroughly with water. Renew the operation if necessary.

In all cases, make a pre-test on a little visible part to verify compatibility with the support.
Do not throw residues into the sewer or in the natural environment.
