G8 SUPER VARNISH - 1 L SUPER POLYURETHANE VARNISH

Description

G8-SUPER is a monolithic polyurethane solvent varnish, anti-yellowing but without additional UV absorber. Applied in thin layers, it hardens after clearing solvents by the action of moisture from the air and exhibits excellent resistance to common chemicals and cleansers. Due to its solvent content, this product should not be used indoors.

Clear anti-yellowing varnish for wood, metal and plastics containing solvents.

Protecting wood:
G8-SUPER is particularly recommended for light and dark wood because of its good yellowing hold and its resistance to wear.

Improved surface condition of epoxy laminates:
Speedcoat and G8-SUPER surfboards have better UV resistance and, in combination with non-slip powder, improve trampling resistance.

Improved chemical resistance of floor coverings in ESTOVOSS:
On high-stressED ESTOVOSS soils, the application of G8-SUPER roller or pistol in a 4 to 24-hour interval provides better chemical resistance to the floor covering.

Do not use building recoveries, their elements and their decoration in accordance with the 2004/42/EC directive on the reduction of VOC emissions.

The grip on wood, concrete and sanded polyester laminates is remarkable, it is less on metal and glass. G8-SUPER hardens quickly, it is off bad luck after about 2 to 4 hours. The hardened film is characterized by its great resistance to shocks and its extreme hardness.
It has good weather resistance and hardly yellows thanks to its good gleaming. It acquires its chemical resistance to diluted acids and alkaline solutions after sufficient hardening time (at least 7 days at 20oC) as well as water at room temperature.

IMPLEMENTATION

The support should be clean, dry and free of grease. The relative humidity of solid wood should be 15 % (air-dried) to the maximum. It is advisable to lightly sand the support to make it rough, carefully remove the old paints by sanding.
Consumption per layer is 200 to 300 ml/m2 depending on the porosity of the support.
Apply G8-SUPER with a brush, roller or gun (wear a mask!). The amount per layer should not exceed 250 ml to ensure a good hardening at heart. On porous supports, it is advisable to lengthen the first layer of G8-SUPER with a maximum of 50 % OF THE POLYURETHANNE and the second layer with 25 %. On the low-porous media, the first layer will be diluted until maximum. 20 % with the DILUANT POLYURETHANNE and up to max. 5 % for the following layers.
To obtain a wear-resistant film, it is necessary to apply at least 3 to 4 undiluted layers.
The covering of successive layers should be done as soon as the surface is out of step. This time depends on the implementation temperature and humidity of the air, it is about 2 to 4 hours at an object temperature of 20oC. Once this time has elapsed, it is necessary to sand intermediately.
It is possible to dye G8-SUPER using our PU COLORANTES PATES but is recommended only in special cases and making sure to do not exceed 5 %. In case of colouring, it is to be expected in any case to reduce mechanical resistance, brightness and stability.
