South Corsica and Upper Corsica
Reduces pH.
Does not generate chloride ions.
Very high in active ingredient content.
Use is much easier compared to powdered product.
Recommended for dosing pump injection.
Pour 0.1 litre of pH Minus liquid/10 m3 to lower the pH by 0.2 units, directly into the basin in front of the back-up, filtration in operation. For highly limestone water, it may be necessary to double this dosage.
The pH balance is the key to success water treatment. Water is characterized by a pH usually between pH 7 and pH 8. Noted on one scale graduated from pH 0 to pH 14, the "hydrogen potential" pH, expresses the acidic or basic character.
Water is naturally loaded with dissolved elements, calcium and magnesium salts, which affect both the balance and stability of its pH. PH corrections involve acidic or basic products, packaged in powder or liquid.
Powdered, pH minus and pH plus correctors are recommended for their use
Safe.
Cash, these correctors, designed for automatic dosers, are certainly much more powerful. On the other hand, their use is more restrictive.
In practice, the more "hard" water is (heavily loaded with dissolved elements), the more difficult it is to permanently modify its pH with acidic correctors.
Finally, it should be noted that the high temperature of the water favours the deposits, requiring the use of calfix anti-limestone.
