Ensuring an exceptional level of user and process protection, this new model blocks 99.2 % dust(1) and three times as much liquid(2). Lightweight, durable and innovative in design, Tyvek® Classic Xpert offers an improved level of protection at the same cost and therefore economically profitable for businesses.


Increased protection against liquids

Thanks to the new patented technology of its seams, Tyvek® Classic Xpert provides the user with superior protection against liquids. DuPont has redesigned the protection in detail and has enabled the Tyvek® Classic Xpert to meet the new test method applied to Type 6 (ENO ISO 17491-4 Method A:2008). Tyvek® Classic Xpert also offers better protection during the higher intensity fog resistance tests applied to the more demanding Type 4 (EN ISO 17491-4 Method B). Indeed, liquid leaks are significantly lower than with conventional sewn seams, which allows the user to remain more serene. Finally, the new Tyvek® Classic Xpert fabric is certified against five infectious agents (EN 14126) and against the chemical permeation of certain low-concentrated water-based substances.
