POLYESTER OR POLYEPOXYDES STRATIFIES

After preparing the mould with the 7890 F paste and glossing with LUSTRAVIT:

Spread out in a thin layer and continue the CIRE DE DEMOULAGE 34 D, following:

Place a little wax (wool or cotton) in a permeable cloth, tie the cloth into a ball, pressing lightly. Pass this ball over the mold so that the wax filters through the cloth, let it dry until a whitish veil appears and shine by hand without pressing. Repeat this three times to obtain a high-power separator film and a bright mirror. Mold.

Make a new application of CIRE 34 D whenever necessary,

Warning

Faced with the multiplicity of types and qualities of polyurethanes and laques and varnishes, more or less adapted to the techniques of composite fingerprinting on wood moulds or polyurethane varnish, we advise discourage the use of our waxes on moulds or shapes coated with these laques or varnishes.

However, if this technique is necessary, we strongly recommend that a preliminary orientation test be carried out on the lashy or polyurethane varnish applied to the media used.

This test says "styrene" is as follows:

Pour a drop of styrene into the stand to be tested in 4 or 5 places.

Cover each drop of a watch glass (to avoid evaporation)

Check progress after 12 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours or more if necessary.

Check the following points in comparison with the surface not in contact with styrene. :

Shine / Cloquage / Alteration of the hue

Case of a hairsavory: With a white paper towel (sopalin), absorb the styrene drops and observe if the styrene has been colored by migrating the pigment.

Conclusion

Hairs record or varnish may be considered unsuitable for intended use if they present defects in tarnish, blistering or skin change at points in contact with styrene.
